During fall 2019 I started my internship at Everday Miracles and currently still work there as an intern. Everday Miracles is a non-profit organization located in northeast Minneapolis dedicated to providing pregnancy based services for low-income families, families of color, and the larger twin cities area. Their organization helps pregnant people be matched with doulas during their pregnancy as well as helps people who need breast pumps or car seats. Additionally, they offer chiropractic and acupuncture services, and a variety of pregnancy and parenting classes.
My daily tasks at Everyday Miracles include office support (answering phones, checking voicemails, replying to emails), helping clients sign up for programs and services in person and online, working on special projects with staff members, and maintaining the cleanliness of the office space.
One of my major tasks as a program intern was to help plan the Everyday Miracles table at the 2019 Twin cities Birth and Baby Expo.
